The latest iteration of the lineup includes three models: Basilisk V3 Pro, Basilisk V3, and Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed. Design And Connectivity

All three Basilisk models are right-handed gaming mice with a similar shape and design. The Basilisk V3 Pro and V3 X HyperSpeed are wireless gaming mice with Razer HyperSpeed wireless technology that provides a low latency and lag-free connection. The V3 X HyperSpeed also supports Bluetooth connectivity, making it a versatile option for users who need to connect to multiple devices. On the other hand, the Basilisk V3 is a wired gaming mouse that comes with a Speedflex Cable USB Type C. The Basilisk V3 Pro and V3 X HyperSpeed also come with an optional Razer Mouse Dock Pro with Razer Wireless Charging Puck (sold separately) that provides a charging dock for the wireless mice.

Battery Life

The Basilisk V3 Pro has a long battery life of up to 90 hours on HyperSpeed and up to 45 hours with RGB lighting. The V3 X HyperSpeed has an impressive battery life of up to 285 hours on HyperSpeed and up to 535 hours on Bluetooth. In contrast, the Basilisk V3 is a wired gaming mouse that doesn’t have a battery, making it a good option for users who don’t want to worry about charging their mouse.

RGB Lighting

The Basilisk V3 Pro and V3 X HyperSpeed feature Razer Chroma RGB lighting that allows users to customize their mouse with over 16.8 million colors and a variety of lighting effects. The V3 X HyperSpeed also features RGB lighting on the scroll wheel. The Basilisk V3, however, does not have any RGB lighting.

Sensor

All three Basilisk models feature advanced optical sensors that provide accurate and precise tracking. The Basilisk V3 Pro has a Focus Pro 30K optical sensor with a maximum sensitivity of 30,000 DPI and a maximum speed of 750 IPS. The Basilisk V3 has a Focus+ optical sensor with a maximum sensitivity of 26,000 DPI and a maximum speed of 650 IPS. The Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed has a 5G Advanced 18K DPI optical sensor with a maximum sensitivity of 18,000 DPI and a maximum speed of 450 IPS.

Programmable Buttons

The Basilisk V3 Pro has the most programmable buttons with a total of 11 buttons that can be customized using Razer Synapse software. The Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed has 7 programmable buttons, and the Basilisk V3 doesn’t have any programmable buttons.

Other Features

The Basilisk V3 Pro and V3 come with 100% PTFE mouse feet for smooth gliding and an on-board memory that can save up to 5 profiles. The Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed doesn’t have any on-board memory, but it comes with 100% PTFE mouse feet and supports tilt scroll wheel with 4-way Razer HyperScroll tilt wheel.

Price

The Basilisk V3 Pro is the most expensive model with a price of $159.99, followed by the Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed at $69.99, and the Basilisk V3 at $69.99.
