SteelSeries Rival 5

SteelSeries has unveiled a new ergonomic right-handed mouse named Rival 5. The mouse has nine programmable buttons, and according to the manufacturer, it is ideal for Battle Royale, FPS, MOBA, MMO and many other games.

Five additional buttons are located on the side panel of the mouse. Rival 5 uses TrueMove Air optical sensor that is a joint product of SteelSeries and PixArt. It has a resolution of 18,000 CPI and a speed of 400 inches per second.

It has up to 40G of acceleration and one-to-one motion accuracy. The same sensor is found in more expensive SteelSeries Aerox 3 and Aerox 3 Wireless gaming keyboards.

The SteelSeries Rival 5 is similar to the Rival 600, but has a more ergonomic shape that lets you hold it in all kinds of grip.

The Rival 5 also offers a newly redesigned 10-zone PrismSync backlighting that offers 16.8 million colors.

The gaming mouse incorporates IP54 certified mechanical switches (dust and water resistant) with an estimated lifespan of 80 million keystrokes.

Weight of SteelSeries Rival 5 mouse is 85 grams. Dimensions of the mouse are 120.6 × 58.3 × 21.5/37.9 mm. The novelty is equipped with a two-meter cable in a soft microfiber braid with mesh, which provides less resistance and easier sliding of the manipulator.

SteelSeries has priced the Rival 5 gaming mouse at 70 euros. The novelty is already available in the company’s branded online store.
